The 2023 Michigan State Tournament was held on April 22, 2023 at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. This was the first year Michigan had "gold bids" where any student that took first at a regional competition could compete at the state tournament in that event as an exhibition team. They could still earn medals, but their placements did not affect the full team's rankings.
