The Mary Washington Regional is a Division B and Division C regional hosted by the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The university first hosted a regional in 2009 and then again in 2020, but had to stop due to the 2019-20 Coronavirus outbreak. As restrictions eased, Virginia was able to move a regional back to UMW in 2023. That year was a hybrid tournament, though, with the written tests done through Scilympiad on a separate day from the in-person device testing and labs. A fully in-person regional was scheduled in 2024, but it had to be postponed and moved to Lake Braddock for snow.
