The 2011 Pennsylvania State competition was held at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA on Friday, April 29, 2011.

In Division B, Strath Haven Middle School won their first state title, one season after qualifying for the national tournament for the first time. Shady Side Academy Middle School defeated Bala Cynwyd Middle School for second place by the largest margin between second and third in seven years.

In Division C, Harriton High School won their fourteenth consecutive state title, and Penncrest High School finished in second for the eighth consecutive season. By placing third, Athens Area High School became the first team outside the Southeast Regional to finish in the top three since 2006. The margin of 25 points between them and Penncrest represented the closest any Division C team outside the Southeast region had been to nationals qualification since 2002, and as of 2020 no team has finished closer since.
