The OCSA Invitational is a Division B invitational tournament held at the Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana, CA and hosted by Orange County School of the Arts. Its first invitational was held on March 16th, 2024. Besides the host school, other notable attendees include Southern California state champions and 2022 National champions Sierra Vista Middle School, previous Southern California state champions Jeffrey Trail Middle School, and previous Southern California state champions Kraemer Middle School.

The tournament is intended to be a final tournament opportunity for Southern California teams to compete with each other before the Southern California state tournament the following month, as well as giving teams that did not qualify for state one last opportunity to compete. In addition to the normal slate of events, fun trial events such as Mystery Architecture and Ornithology were also run. Due to the lack of a venue (OCSA does not have a gym), Flight was trialed and conducted over video submissions.

Among the test writers, many were former Orange County School of the Arts competitors, although others came from Troy High School, Northwood High School, and Temple City High School. Food trucks were stationed nearby to serve wonderful tacos to the competitors.

Award Ceremony

Custom OCSA Invitational medals are given to the top 6 teams in each event, and trophies are given to the top 5 schools, excluding any teams from OCSA.
