Scranton Preparatory School (or Scranton Prep for short) was a Division C team located in Scranton, Pennsylvania that competed in the Northeast Pennsylvania Regional. They have not competed since 2023.
History
Scranton Prep began competing regularly in the 2000s. Through the start of the 2010s, they regularly placed in the top 20, but were unable to finish inside the top 10.
In 2017, they began attending the North Pocono Invitational, and they also attended the Tiger Invitational in 2018 and 2019. This helped propel them into the top 10 of the region, as they placed 8th in both 2018 and 2019. 2018 was the closest they came to qualifying for states, as they were only 20 points behind sixth-place Dallas High School.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, Scranton Prep's results faltered slightly, as they returned to a range outside the top 10 once again. In their final tournament, they placed 17th at the 2023 Northeast Regional.
