Abington Heights High School is a Division C team located in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. They currently participate in the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Regional and have gone to the FM Invitational, the Twin Tiers Invitational, the Tiger Invitational, and the Cornell Invitational in the past, among other tournaments.

History

Abington Heights qualified for their first state tournament in 2010, placing 35th overall. However, they did not see consistent success until 2015, when they broke out with a 3rd-place finish at regionals, and a 15th-place finish at the 2015 Pennsylvania State Tournament, both of which smashed program records. After earning another bronze at regionals in 2016, they earned their first regional championship in 2017, finishing ahead of Stroudsburg High School by 42 points. They then finished seventh at the 2017 Pennsylvania State Tournament, which remains their best placement in program history, and their score of 257 points is their lowest state tournament score by almost 100 points.

Since this peak season, Abington Heights has continued to be competitive, finishing in the top 3 in the Northeast region every year the competition was held between 2015 and 2022. Unfortunately, they did not compete in 2023, but they returned in 2024, and subsequently returned to states in 2025.
