After first competing in 2011, Elizabethtown quickly became a regular contender in the region, placing 6th in their first year at regionals, only one place away from states. They earned their first-ever states qualification in 2014, and later peaked with a second-place finish in 2016. Since 2014, they have only missed states qualification once (2018).
Elizabethtown's best performance at the state tournament was 11th place in 2022. They tied Garnet Valley High School in points with 384, but Garnet Valley won the medal tiebreaker by earning three silver medals to Elizabethtown's one.
