Formation to 2014
Penncrest's team was formed in 2002, and they were immediately competitive, placing 5th in the tough Southeast region. They were then part of the infamous three-way tie for second place at the 2002 Pennsylvania State Tournament, but due to medal tiebreakers, they ended up finishing 4th. It would not take them long to qualify for nationals however, as they placed second in 2004, officially clinching their first trip.
This began a streak of eight consecutive years qualifying for the national tournament. This stretch included their best finish, a 4th-place performance at University of Illinois 2010.

2015 and Beyond
Since 2014, Penncrest has remained competitive within the state of Pennsylvania, continuing to finish in the top 5 of the state on a regular basis. However, they have not been able to qualify for Nationals since their state championship year, placing 3rd twice and 4th four times.
