The Northern Nevada Regional Tournament is a regional tournament for the state of Nevada. It is hosted by the University of Nevada-Reno, which also hosts the state tournament. While the tournament is referred to as a regional, the tournament is different from a typical regional tournament in that it does not determine advancement to state. It is instead intended to better prepare students for the state level competition, giving them a chance to see what a competition environment is like.
