The George Washington University Invitational was a one-time invitational hosted by George Washington University as an emulation of the upcoming 2008 National Tournament. It was hosted on January 26, 2008. The majority of attendees were teams which also qualified for the 2008 National Tournament, with a handful of exceptions. The tournament was open to any team that has not competed at the National Tournament for the past two years. Approximately 20 teams attended the invitational. The invitational was also an invite-only invitational.
