Wheatland Middle School is a Division B team located in Lancaster, PA. They competed in the Central region, but have not competed since 2019.
History
Prior to 1997, the school was known as Wheatland Junior High School, and housed seventh through ninth graders. They were one of the first teams to compete in Pennsylvania, placing 5th at the second-ever Pennsylvania state tournament in 1986. They also qualified for states at the first-ever Central regional in 1989.
In 1997, upon the completion of the new McCaskey East building and the renovation of the existing McCaskey High School, ninth graders were moved out of Wheatland and into McCaskey. Also, sixth graders were moved out of elementary schools and into Wheatland. At this time, the school was renamed to Wheatland Middle School.
