Images Failing

when adding images, sometimes I get a page that says it's a duplicate of another image uploaded in like 2011 or 2004 or something, and sometimes when typing out the name (Tamarack.jpg or something) an image appears because someone's uploaded it a couple years ago, is there a way to find these images from when they were uploaded and never inserted? -AcademicWMD 8/2/25

Instant commons is enabled on the Wiki. You just need to include the same name of the file name as it's under on the Commons (e.g. https://scioly.org/wiki/File:FileNameOnCommons.png). If it worked, there should be a small preamble directly below the image saying:

This file is from Wikimedia Commons and may be used by other projects.

I am going to go ahead and fix up the previous added images to use the Commons' version.
