Reservoir High School is a Division C school located in Fulton, Maryland. Reservoir has competed regularly in the Maryland Science Olympiad circuit, achieving success at both the regional and state levels. The team qualified for and competed at the Maryland State Tournament multiple times, earning medals across a variety of events in all regions of Scioly. Known for being a predominantly student-led organization, Reservoir has performed strongly at invitational tournaments throughout the season, including placements at regional Maryland invitationals. The team emphasizes collaboration, hands-on experimentation, and event specialization, and continues to be an active competitor within the Eastern Maryland Science Olympiad region.

Reservoir Science Olympiad is a predominantly student-run organization, typically led by a group of student officers who manage team logistics, practices, and tournament preparation. Team structure is with approximately 30 students selected each season to form two competitive teams Orange and Blue. Sometimes it is 45 students with Team Orange, Blue, and Green. These teams regularly attend multiple invitational tournaments throughout the year in preparation for regional and state competitions. The program benefits from a strong feeder system from local middle schools, including students from Lime Kiln Middle School, who often continue their involvement in Science Olympiad at Reservoir.
