Quaker Valley High School is a 9-12 public school located in the Sewickley, PA area a few minutes west of Pittsburgh. They are fed by Quaker Valley Middle School, which has a team of 6-8th graders who compete in Division B. The high school team has qualified for the Pennsylvania state finals in each year of the team's existence.
History
Though Quaker Valley Middle School's team has competed since the 1990s, Quaker Valley High School Science Olympiad did not begin until 2012. They saw immediate success at the regional level, placing 5th and qualifying for states.
Quaker Valley's best seasons were 2014 and 2015. In both years, they placed 2nd at the regional tournament (to Shady Side Academy High School) and 18th at the state tournament.
