Tiger Invitational
Northwestern Lehigh ran the competitive Division C Tiger Invitational, which attracted top schools in Eastern Pennsylvania, from 2011 to 2020. They also hosted the Division B Little Tiger Invitational in 2017 and 2018.
History
Northwestern's program was started in 2003. They gradually improved every year until 2006, when they finished in the top 10 at regionals for the first time. However, after 2007, the team went dormant.
Team Revival
In 2011, Northwestern returned and immediately attained their best result at regionals in team history, with a 7th-place finish. They then qualified for the state tournament for the first time in 2012, finishing 21st.
In 2014, they became a consistent power within the region, winning regionals in 4 of 5 years, and finishing in the top 10 of the state every year from 2014 to 2018. Their best performance was at the 2014 Pennsylvania State Tournament, where they placed seventh overall with a score of 295 points. They also won two invitational tournaments during this time, both at the MC Barons Invitational.
Recent History
When the Central East regional resumed in 2022 after a two-year hiatus, Northwestern resumed their regional dominance, winning the regional in both 2022 and 2023. Their six regional titles are the most confirmed titles for a Division C team in the Central East region's history.
