Jericho High School, a public high school in Jericho, New York, competes in Division C in the Nassau East Regional Tournament.
Since 2017, Jericho High School has qualified for the New York State Competition. In 2023, the team placed 4th at the New York State Competition in an upward trajectory from 23rd in 2017 at their first State competition, where the team was awarded the "Best New School.”
Renewed during the 2015 competition season, Jericho High School Science Olympiad has participated in invitational (Long Island Invitational, Rickards Invitational, & Rice Invitational), Regional (Nassau East Regional), and State (New York) tournaments, consistently placing in Top 10 teams. Expanding since its renewal, Jericho High School has enrolled four teams at the 2021 Nassau East Regional Competition. The school’s teams placed in the Top 10 overall teams at the 2023 Nassau East Regional Competition (Team A: 2nd place, Team B: 5th place, Team C: 6th place). At the 2021 Regional competition, Team A achieved the most number of 1st Place medals among all competing teams. At the 2025 Columbia University Invitational, the team earned their first first place trophy.
Jericho's mascot is the red panda. Their red panda stuffie, Finn, is passed down through generations of captains, and is greatly loved by the whole team!
Through hard work, care, and most importantly cooperation, the team hopes to one day qualify for the National Tournament.
