Greater Nanticoke Area High School, sometimes referred to as simply Nanticoke High School, was a Division C team that competed in the Northeast region of Pennsylvania. They were fed by the Greater Nanticoke Area Educational Center. They have not competed since 2019.
History
Nanticoke has competed in the Northeast regional since as early as 1999. However, they would not qualify for the state tournament until 2011, when they placed 3rd at regionals on the strength of team members who had significant success at GNAEC in Division B. This was by far Nanticoke High School's best placement at regionals to this point, and remains their best-ever finish. They returned to states in 2012 after a 6th-place finish at regionals. This was Nanticoke's final appearance at states.
After 2012, Nanticoke continued competing, but was unable to replicate their success of 2011 and 2012. They attained their final top-10 finish in 2015, and their results steadily diminished afterwards. In 2019, their final year of competition, they placed 23rd at regionals.
