About Me

Jackie Hou, alias Jackaloupe, is a Division C competitor who began competing in the 2019-2020 season for the Blacksburg High School Science Olympiad team in the state of Virginia. In 2020, she competed in Virginia's Virginia Tech Regional and won 1st in Chem Lab, 2nd in Circuit Lab, and 2nd in Forensics. In 2021, she competed in the Virginia Hooke Regional and won 1st in Chemistry Lab, 2nd in Forensics, 2nd in Protein Modeling, and 4th in Anatomy and Physiology. She competed in the 2021 Fairfax Invitational and placed 4th in Protein Modeling and 5th in Chem Lab out of 68 teams. She is currently the Co-president and Team Captain of the Blacksburg High School team.
