Lane Tech High School is a Division C team that competes in Illinois' Chicago Public Schools Regional. Since 2021, Lane Tech has been in Illinois's AA subdivision. The team's main feeder school is Lane Tech Academic Center (LTAC), but, since Lane Tech is a selective enrollment school, the team is encompassed of students from all over Chicago. In 2024 and 2025, the school hosted the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Regional. In 2025, the team achieved the highest ranking at the state tournament of any Chicago Public Schools Div C team ever, placing 5th out of 53 teams.

5th	Lane Tech High School received a 5th place trophy at the 2025 Illinois State Tournament.

1st	Lane Tech High School received a 1st place trophy at the 2025 Washington University Invitational.
