Code Craze is a trial event for the 2026 season. The event will focus on competence in 4 areas through different activity types. Participants are expected to show competence in programming concepts, AI, cryptography, and Python, while additional topics could be tested over at the State and National level.

Competition

The event is split up into three primary activity types:

  • A gamified quiz where participants are competing against other teams to answer questions accurately and quickly
  • Individual quizzes with multiple choice questions and coding snippets
  • Coding assessments, where participants will be provided a coding challenge to solve
