Lakeshore has gone to Nationals frequently, along with its sister school [[White Pines Middle School|White Pines]], and qualified for the 2012 national competition at the 2012 [[Michigan]] [[Division B]] state competition.
Lakeshore Middle School is a [[Division B]] school located in Grand Haven, [[Michigan]], on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. They compete at the [[Michigan Region 12|Region 12]] tournament. The school feeds from [[White Pines Intermediate School]], and the two teams run practices together. Since the 2012-13 school year, Lakeshore has been a 7th and 8th grade school, with its team usually consisting of five 9th graders and ten 8th graders.

Lakeshore and White Pines began as 6-8 schools after the opening of a new building for [[Grand Haven High School]] in fall 1997; Lakeshore opened in the former senior high school building, while White Pines opened in the former [[Grand Haven Junior High School]] facility. In the 2000s and 2010s, Lakeshore frequently went to the national tournament, including seven times qualifying alongside White Pines between 2002 and 2011.
