Pacific Trails Middle School is a 7/8 grade school in the [[San Dieguito Union High School District]] of [[California (South)|California]]. They opened in August of 2015 with ~250 7th grade students and competed in their first Science Olympiad in [[2016]]. Only participating in 18 of the 23 events and with new parent coaches, they performed well in their first year. They have qualified for state since 2017.
