Awesome! I've been dying to go to the NY Botanical Garden in the Bronx on a Sat. Morning! They have a bird walk every Saturday! The SO team went on a trip there at the end of last June for fun, but we never really got to go birding. I've heard they get a big turnout every week! A whole herd of bird nerds come just to observe the birds! I hear they get a big variety of species passing through each week, too!
Sorry about the double post.
The place I'm talking about is a place called Huntington Central Park, aka HCP. Last Saturday/Sunday, they had: a blackpoll warbler, two northern waterthrushes, lazuli bunting, olive-sided flycatcher, two lucy's warblers, tennessee warbler, two western wood-pewees, townsend's warbler, pacific-slope flycatcher, and lots of others. It's one of the top three places to bird in Orange County, California.

Oh well, I'm sue you could go to the nearest park this weekend and see ten different species of warbler.

I just came back from a pelagic tip (offshore).
Coolest sightings: Three species of Jaeger: 1 parasitic, dark morph, a juvenile long-tailed, and about fifteen Pomarine.
Most ??? sighting: About twenty miles out to sea, a CHIPPING SPARROW of all things, came aboard. It was randomly flying about before, and then came to rest on the boat. It literally started walking along the entire ship, going between peoples' legs, it even perched on someone's shoulder.
Also, a blue whale, two northern fulmars, and about 30 pink-footed shearwaters.

By the way, just wanted to post a website that connects birdwatching to science:

Yeah, by the way, eBird is awesome, for those of you wondering.
I happen to be a birder that's pretty into it, and Magee Marsh/Crane Creek in Ohio, in May, there are literally birds every 2 feet. I stood 1 foot under a Black-billed Cuckoo and didn't even see it for about a minute.

Hopefully going to Ohio will raise my list to over three hundred. Any thoughts zerasaw?
Also, our team was planning to take a hike at a place called Hocking Hills State Park. Know anything about it, is it good?

Hocking is good for birding, even though I haven't been there myself. You might want to check the data thing on eBird to see what the best spots are.
All that I know that is for summer species such as Blue Grosbeak, Summer Tanager, White-Eyed Vireo, Yellow-Throated Vireo, Chuck-will's-widow, and Whip-poor-will all nest there and are fairly common.
Also I believe Cerulean and Yellow-throated Warblers nest there and it is also good for summer sparrows such as Henslow's and Baird's.

Golden-Hooded Tanagers. And your argument is invalid. I am the patron saint of tanagers.
