Does this answer your question?jweil_buddha wrote:Because you can make it look like anyone said anything if you manually edit the quote. It was probably a simple mistake.

Re: Scrambler
I see that I was wrong about the aiming error not mattering. I was remembering last years rules, not this years. Obviously aiming is going to be a much more critical issue this year. I would say that you need to build your scrambler with some sort of adjustment for steering, without that it would be very complicated to deal with aiming. It is of course possible to simply aim you scrambler differently for each possible distance. I have seen many highly competitive wheeled vehicles that had a chart that they used to calculate the aim point at every possible distance from 8 - 12 meters. I prefer a vehicle that goes as straight as possible because having to calculate the aimpoint is just one more thing that you can screw up in competition.
To be clear: The rules to say that the score is based on the distance from the centerline of the barrier to the tip of the egg. You have to get your aim right on if you are going to be competitive.

Re: Scrambler
An easy way to aim is just to have a rifle scope mounted to the rail (if you're using a pulley launcher) and then aim it that way. Otherwise you're kneeling behind it, trying to judge the aim, and that REALLY doesn't work. Believe me, I know.

Re: Scrambler
Or you can attach a laser pointer to the scrambler and aim for the center of the wall.
