Spartan Science Olympiad is Michigan State University's student volunteer organization. They do not currently host their own invitational, but volunteer at many tournaments in the area, including the state tournament of Michigan, which is held at Michigan State annually.
Focus
According to their constitution, Spartan Science Olympiad Club's main focus is outreach and promoting science education to K-12 students. They have assisted at a number of tournaments throughout Michigan, including:
- Region 5 Tournament
- Region 6 Tournament
- Region 11 Tournament
- State Tournament
- Haslett High School Invitational
- Frankenmuth Invitational
They also host events at Michigan State University for middle and high school students to gain exposure to STEM and prepare for future Science Olympiad competitions.
