Dodgen Middle School is a very competitive school which competes in Division B in the state of Georgia. The team placed 3rd at the Georgia state competition from 2010 through 2012, before beating Fulton Science Academy to take 2nd at the Georgia state competition in 2013 and 2014 and thereby qualifying for nationals. In 2015, Dodgen beat Fulton Science Academy to win the state championship in the wake of the discontinuity of J.C. Booth Middle School's Science Olympiad team, depsite losing to Fulton Science Academy at regionals. We are very close rivals, but enjoy facing them in the competitive Division B.
