Brookings High School is a Division C team from Brookings, South Dakota. In 2013, they broke Yankton High School's 24-year streak of state tournament victories and qualified for the 2013 National competition. The team has been active at the state tournament since 2000, with a hiatus during the 2002 season.
In 2021, the team won the South Dakota state tournament with a perfect score of 16 points, the lowest score of any team at any state competition yet. The score was only possible due to the effects of the 2019-2021 Coronavirus Pandemic.
