Wyomissing Area Senior High School is a Division C team located in Wyomissing, PA that competes in the Central East region. They qualified for the 2017 Pennsylvania State Tournament, but did not attend.
They typically attend the Berks County Tournament, placing third in 2018.
History
Wyomissing High School was one of the teams that attended the first Pennsylvania Science Olympiad tournament in 1985, placing 12th. They returned in 1986. In both years, they were the only school from Berks County that participated.
Since the start of regional tournaments, Wyomissing has consistently competed, but have not often advanced to the state tournament. Since the start of the Central East regional, they have finished in the region's top 10 a total of five times, including 6th-place finishes in 2003 and 2017. The latter represented their first qualification to states in over two decades, but they earned a No-Show as they failed to attend and were not replaced with another team.
After the 2020 regional was cancelled, Wyomissing did not compete again until 2024, when they placed 25th at regionals. They did not compete in 2025.
