Woodland Spring Middle School is a Division B team which competes in Kansas. The school is a part of Spring Hill USD 230 near the South Olathe area. The team was formed at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year by the current coach, Mr. Clary, a former member of the St. James Academy Science Olympiad team. As of March 2023, WSMS has competed in 2 invitationals placing 8th and 6th. The team also competed at the KS Northeast Regionals, to which the team placed 4th. Some of the team's best events (from 2023 NE KS Regionals) include Write It, Do It, Crave the Wave, Solar System, Crime Busters, Disease Detectives, Green Generation, and Forestry, among others.
