9th Grade ('23-'24)
My freshman year in high school was actually my first experience with Science Olympiad! I participated in 5 official events throughout the year, although it definitely was not my finest performance. Though I was on JV, I was a state alternate and competed in trial events at the state tournament. The first placement denotes divisional placement, and the placement in parentheses denotes overall placement. For regional scores, the placement before the slash is only in the JV track, while after is overall.

Thanks to a lot of studying over the summer, I made varsity this year! In total, I've competed in only 4 official events, but also competed in two Wisconsin trials. These Wisconsin events are not marked in a separate table since they contributed to the overall team score (using their 5 drops policy). This year has also marked my first overall 1st-place! Thus far, this year has seen a massive increase in performance at competitions, although it is important to note that we did not attend Northwestern this year, which was our most competitive last year. This was, however, our most competitive state ever, missing the nationals bid by a measly 4 points in our division1, and 15 points overall. Again, the first placement denotes divisional placement, and the placement in parentheses after denotes overall placement.
