"Snowyowl" is a senior attending Syosset High School in Syosset, New York. He had previously claimed that he would update this page in March 2020, but due to the onset of a relatively well-known global pandemic, he got side-tracked, accidentally relegating this page to a dusty mental corner. He has previously competed in many events, most notably Dynamic Planet (Plate Tectonics/Glaciers/Oceanography/Earth's Fresh Water) Fermi Questions (C), Meteorology (B), Mystery Architecture (B) (lol), Ornithology (B/C), Road Scholar (B), Rocks and Minerals (B/C), and Water Quality (B). He plans to fully update this page, perhaps with data tables (wow!) after the conclusion of the 2023 season. To all of you syo peeps commenting on this... 1) i'm busy with college apps, and 2) i never said when after the 2023 season. It actually requires a surprising amount of effort to obtain and confirm old results so it's quite a project ;)

In 2023, he medaled at three events at the National Tournament (Dynamic Planet (1st), Rocks and Minerals (4th), and Forestry (5th).

He currently competes in Disease Detectives, Experimental Design, Forestry, and Write It Do It, and hopes to fulfill his dream of helping his team to win nationals. #syonats24

Snowyowl is notable for his extreme dislike for the lack of standardization of regionals, states, and nationals event schedules, which have caused him and his team immeasurable pain.
