2019-2020 (6th Grade, Div B)

This year was Pragathi's first experience with Scioly. She competed in the events Disease Detectives, Crime Busters, and Mousetrap Vehicle. Her favorite memories included going to the invitationals in person and having fun with her friends. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend regionals and state due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, but she learned a lot this year regardless. She competed on team Science Squad at Timberline Middle School. It was Timberline's first year as a school.

This was Pragathi's second Scioly season. Due to the introduction of Sciilympiad, Timberline was able to attend more invitationals! Meetings with partners were always the highlight of the day amidst online learning.

2021-2022 (8th Grade, Div B)

This year, Pragathi was placed on the varsity team, now named TMS Alpha. She was ecstatic about this and the opportunity to potentially go to the National Tournament! This year she competed in the events Disease Detectives, Green Generation, and Electric Wright Stuff, Experimental Design, and Botany (Trial). She made many memories this year, a favorite being her Electric Wright Stuff plane breaking during device check in at the beginning of her State recording :)

Volunteer Experience

Over the summer of 2022, Pragathi was given the opportunity to mentor and teach ~70 students aged 10-14 a course on Disease Detectives at the Sciovirtual Foundation. She enjoyed imparting knowledge and learned a lot from the experience, both from her co-instructors as well as the students. During this role, she made lesson plans, tests, worksheets, and worked with students 1-on-1 to help the students to the best of her abilities.
