Peoneill is currently one of the coaches of Munster High School Science Olympiad. In addition to Munster, he has also coached at a variety of different schools in Indiana, some of the known schools he has coached at in the past include Bloomington High School North and Carmel High School.

His alma maters include Bloomington High School North and Indiana University.

There seems to have been an odd positive correlation (*not causation) between the school that wins the Indiana State Tournament and the school peoneill coaches at each year. The exact cause of correlation is unknown. However, Carmel has been ruining it recently.
