Student part of Orange County School of the Arts Division B team in the 2021-2024 seasons, and Division C team for the 2024-2025 season. jltstudies joined Science Olympiad in his first year at OCSA as a seventh grader. His first events of the Science Olympiad season were Codebusters, Experimental Design, Road Scholar and Solar System. In his first year, he performed relatively lower than other teams such as Sierra Vista, Kennedy and JTMS. jltstudies continued participating in Science Olympiad in his second year at OCSA as an eighth grader. He continued some of his previous events from last year, such as Road Scholar and Solar System, but this year, he had taken up events such as Fast Facts, Meteorology and Rocks and Minerals. In this year, he had started performing his events on exceptionally well levels. He started matching up the competition to strong teams mentioned before, and in some instances, beat them in his events. Now, as a Division C student, he is working hard as to get on the same competition level as competitive teams such as Troy and University.
About jltstudies
jltstudies is an 11th grade OCSA student, who specializes in Integrated Arts. Outside of Science Olympiad, jltstudies enjoys multiple forms of art such as drawing, dancing, acting, singing, hip-hop, animation, writing, film, and other activities. His main interest in science is Astronomy and enjoys learning about our universe. He participates in other extracurricular activities such as a hip-hop team, manIA, helping the community and leading his Troop in Boy Scouts as a Senior Patrol Leader, but one of his main and defining activities is Science Olympiad. He is a very rambunctious person, but a self-seclusion enjoyer. He lives comfortably with his family and his dog, and loves personalizing and decorating his room. He also has an addiction to slacking off, sweets, sandwiches, and science. He plays video games from time to time, but as a nerd, he prioritizes studying more. At least he tries to.

First Year of Science Olympiad (2021-2022 Season)
jltstudies joined Science Olympiad in the 2021-2022 and was actually interested in very different events at the start. He originally wanted to Solar System, Crime Busters, Disease Detectives, Green Generation and Write It, Do it. After taking placement tests on those events and finding out that he would not know what to study with those events, he soon switched to doing Experimental Design, Road Scholar and Solar System. After more experience with his events, he started getting higher placements, specifically in Road Scholar. In the later season, jltstudies found out about the Codebusters event and decided to replace Experimental Design with that event. At the end of the season, he had only managed 2 rankings in his events, but he managed to land a spot on the varsity team, and he definitely improved his skills by a lot since the beginning of that season.
Second Year of Science Olympiad (2022-2023 Season)
jltstudies returned for his second year of Science Olympiad in the 2022-2023 season and had found himself doing participating in the same events as last year, with a few additional ones due to strand placements. He did events such as Solar System, Meteorology, Rocks and Minerals, Fast Facts and Road Scholar. At his first few competitions, jltstudies performed exceptionally well on his MAIN events. As he participated in more invitationals and put in the study hours, his results started to pay off. In the late season, jltstudies really started to take things seriously. Mira Loma, Kennedy, Regionals and State were some of his best competitions, as he ranked in almost every event he participated. And it was all thanks to the special neuron accelerator and enhancer that was being used to enhance his mental performance and logistic reasoning, which was secretly store within his signature bucket hat.

2021-2022 Season:
I'm just going to say right now. I absolutely sucked on my first year. The first EXPD test I did, my partner just kept calling me a "b*tch" and sang Frozen. The only event I enjoyed doing and was really confident in was Road Scholar, because we were always top 20s. Personally, I just liked hanging out with everyone else while we waited for the awards. BUT LIKE MY EXPD TEAMS SUCKED FOR THE FIRST SEASON.
2022-2023 Season:
This was definitely a much better season from last year, seeing as i have rankings across the board and like four 1st places (even though that's not that good compared to Sierra Vista), but as an OCSA student, it is REALLY GOOD. Even though I'm second best in every single one of my main events, the good thing is that allows me to have the top students as teammates. Also I'm just very cool and smart and I'm definitely not a bad influence on the new 7th graders.
Fun Fact about Solar System: When I first took a placement test for Solar, I completely bombed the test and got last (definitely did not cry myself to sleep), and when it came time for Mira Loma, my team captain was very hesitant to put me on the varsity solar team, but I kept assuring her that I would do exceptionally well. Now I have a win streak of 4 in Solar System. I'm just better! (i am not just better)
2023-2024 Season:
I don't like studying on my own time. I hate this.
2024-2025 Season:

2025-2026 Season:

[Every Single Meteorology Result: I'm not good at this event, so I'm just going to blame this one on global warming]
