Hi all, I'm doktorbc. I was the Co-Captain of the Bronx Science SciOly for my Junior and Senior Year! I have competed in: Astronomy, Dynamic Planet, Experimental Design, Fossils, GeoMapping, Herpetology, and Write it Do it, but my favorite/main events are Dynamic Planet, Fossils, and GeoMapping.
I am now a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania studying Systems Engineering, and I am a member of the SOUP Finance Committee. I graduated from Bronx Science in 2021.

I was also 9th in Rocks/Minerals at BirdSO.
The Bronx Science team is student-led, with student coaches and minimal adult support. Our team has been on the rise ever since making it to States for our first time in 2018. Although our States placement has not been great for those years, in 2021, we were 11th at States, constituting a major improvement over prior years.
