David is currently in the eleventh grade attending Ames High School; he is doing Geologic Mapping, Dynamic Planet, Astronomy, Wind Power (24-25). He enjoys backpacking and photography (@shotbyzhang) in his free time. David clearly enjoys the various earth/space science events, with his favorite being Rocks and Minerals and his least favorite being Astronomy. He also plays soccer and does Science Bowl. He has been in Science Olympiad for 4 years.
