Alice Chi is an active member of Mason High School’s Science Olympiad team and competes in events such as Helicopter, Experimental Design, Engineering CAD, Hovercraft, and more.
2025–2026 (11th Grade, Division C)
I’m currently in 11th grade :) This year, I became a captain of the Mason High School Science Olympiad team. Last season (2024–2025), Mason High School placed 3rd at the National Tournament. Can we do it again in the 2025–2026 season?

2024–2025 (10th Grade, Division C)
I was in 10th grade. In January 2025, I earned my first MIT Invitational gold medal. At the 2025 Science Olympiad National Tournament hosted by the University of Nebraska on May 23, 2025 in Lincoln, Nebraska, I won my second national championship - 1st place gold medal on Air Trajectory event. I also earned a 2nd place silver medal in Wind Power event.

2023–2024 (9th Grade, Division C)
At the 2024 Science Olympiad National Tournament hosted by Michigan State University on May 24, 2024 in East Lansing, Michigan, I won my first national championship - 1st place gold medal in WIDI (Write it Do it) event. I also placed 4th in Flight event and 4th in Air Trajectory event.
That season, I became a captain at Mason Middle School, and Mason Middle School made Nationals again for the third year in a row.

After being peer pressured into joining scioly by everyone around me and bribed with the false promise of a cat, I joined scioly under the tech and inqury section. I started Storm the Castle which ripped my soul out and late into the season PPP which was my bestie along with EXPD. I mingled with Road Scholar for a bit, but due to dumb incompetency I scored an 8 out of a 60ish point test (not my proudest moment) which was the end to my Road Scholar road. Bridge was cool (i love my homie Annie Li).
MMS made nats for the first time which was pretty epic. I also won my first national medal, I was placed 5th in Ping Pong Parachute event.
