Unami Middle School was a Division B team located in Chalfont, Pennsylvania, in Bucks County. Unami competed in the Southeastern region.

History

Unami was the first team from Bucks County to achieve consistent success in Science Olympiad, earning several top-10 finishes at states during the 1990s. The team was most successful in 1991, placing 2nd at States and 18th at Nationals. They would continue to place well during the 1990s and early 2000s, with a 3rd-place finish at the 1996 state tournament and a 4th-place finish at the 2000 state tournament. After a slight downturn, Unami experienced a rebirth in the late 2000s, earning top-10 finishes in both 2008 and 2009.

During the 2010s, Unami was plagued by a lack of support from their school district, causing them to turn down multiple invitations to the state tournament. Their final year of competition was 2017.
