Novi High School is a public school in Novi, Michigan. Since 2020, their team has become much more competitive, moving from 11th to 3rd in their region in the 2020-2021 season, qualifying for the Michigan State Tournament for the first time. Visit the team site here at noviscioly.org
From 2021-2023, Novi High School maintained their Regionals place as well as 9th and 11th places at States.
In the 2024 season, Novi won their first ever competition (Plymouth/Canton Invitational 1st Place), won their first ever Regional (MI Region 6 1st Place), and qualified for their first ever Science Olympiad National Tournament on the 40th anniversary of Science Olympiad's official national inception with a 2nd Place at the Michigan State Tournament.
At the 2024 National Tournament, the team placed 27th with a team score of 616 and earned two event placements (2nd in Air Trajectory, 5th in Scrambler) - the first ever National Placements for the team.
Novi High School won the Michigan State Tournament for the first time in 2025, after being the dominant Michigan team throughout that invitational season. At the National tournament, the team more than doubled its medal count with 1st place in Robot Tour and 4th place in Air Trajectory, as well as the first placements in Study and Hybrid events: 4th place in Write It Do It, 5th place in Wind Power, and 6th place in Fossils.
