Lindbergh High School is a Division C team that competes in Missouri's Region VI. LHS is the best underfunded team in its region. How did Lindbergh rise to the top? They kept writing non-stop (not a Hamilton reference), to the point of insanity.
Lore
Home of the glorious "Matthew Kim Bed." How did this legendary tale start? It all started when Matthew Kim was given the discord role "Freshman," as a sophomore of Lindbergh High School. On the eighth of April, he made a deal with the devil, Finn Ackermann. In exchange for the removal of his Freshman role, he agreed to sleep on the floor. After completing the grueling task of collecting/earning 14 pillows, he constructed a bed made of pillows, known to this day as the "Matthew Kim Bed." His fellow teammates decided to make memes, saying "What if we kissed... Kissed in the Matthew Kim Bed" and "What if we embezzled... Embezzled funds in the Matthew Kim Bed"
On September 26, 2023, a life ending misdeed was performed. The removal of a certain role on a popular app called Discord.
"The Lindbergh Science Olympiad leadership team took my freshman role; My will to defeat Ladue High School," Matthew Kim (12) said, his voice cracking in sorrow. "Taking away that role has taken the life out of me. I will miss the good old days of messing around during meetings."
However, a successor was chosen a day later.
"Earlier today, I asked Baxter Boegeman if he would like to be my successor," Matthew responded.
"I'll carry that on," Baxter (10) said. "Don't worry."

Other Important Information
David Wyss is the Director of Bands at Lindbergh High School. His responsibilities include directing the Symphonic Band, the “Spirit of St. Louis” Marching Band, and the Jazz Ensemble. Additionally, he assists with the Freshman Band and three sections of Sperreng and Truman Middle School Band.
Mr. Wyss learned from many great mentors- Bob Spiegleman, Jeff Fuchs, Terry Martinez, Ken Drury, Alexander Pickard, Fred Hemke, Dale Lonis and Sterling Redfern. Mr. Wyss received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000 and a Master of Education from Southwest Baptist University in 2009. Mr. Wyss is a member of NAfME, MMEA, MOAJE, MBA and NEA. He is very grateful for the love and support of his family. He resides in Fenton with his wife, Molly, and daughters, Emma and Avery.
