Laurel Senior High School is a Division C team based east of New Castle, Pennsylvania. They compete in the Northwest region of Pennsylvania. They are fed by Laurel Junior High School.
History
The earliest Laurel is known to have competed in Science Olympiad was in 1993, when they competed at the Western Regional at Westminster College. The earliest they are known to have qualified for the state competition was in 2004, after placing 5th at the Northwest Regional.
From 2009 to 2019, Laurel Senior High School only failed to qualify for the state tournament twice. However, they have not competed since 2019.
