Lake Nona Middle School is a Division B school which participates in Florida's Central regional competition. Despite getting off to a very rough start, the team has slowly been climbing up the proverbial ladder, most recently having broken into the top 10 at the 2014-2015 Florida State Science Olympiad. Despite only placing 9th, they have every intention of placing 1st next year and showing the other teams what they're really made of.
