Hope Middle School
Hope Middle School is a grade 6-8 school in the eastern region of North Carolina, located in Greenville. Hope’s varsity team has placed as high as 12th in a state tournament in 2023, many placed 1st and 2nd in regionals. Hope's Science Olympiad has been qualifying for state tournaments for the past few years. The school itself is ranked the top middle school in Pitt County, offering excellent education and accelerated course opportunities for all. In 2024, Hope is recognized as the National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence award for its outstanding performance. Hope has had several alumni that was successfully selected into the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM, a top ranking public high school in the nation. Ranked #2 in 2024), as well as universities such as Harvard, Cornell, and MIT. In the 2024 state Science Olympiad tournament, Hope received top 10 placements for several events.

Hope Middle placed 13th in the 2024 state tournament. Congratulations to all who received top ten and ones putting in their best effort in the Science Olympiad season of 2024. No matter the placement, the effort matters the most.
