Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School is a Division B school which qualified for the 2014 National competition at the Connecticut 2014 state competition. It had previously finished in 3rd place at the state competition in 2009, 2010, and 2011. The school is located in the town of Old Lyme, which is famous in the scientific community because it lends its name to Lyme Disease, a common illness spread by ticks.
