Overland Trail Middle School is a Division B team that competes in the Northeast Kansas Regional Competition and the Kansas State Competition. Students from OTMS move on to compete at Blue Valley North High School.
During the 2021 and 2022 seasons, Overland Trail saw a drought in the number of competitions attended, many times not making it to state.
Lore
Some students of the Overland Trail 2023 team could be seen running around competition venues to ensure timeliness. This strategy only worked most of the time.
