Jjwkim is a Division B competitor for Virginia's Cooper Middle School. He has also competed for Forestville Elementary School.

This 2020-2021 season is his second year in Science Olympiad. He has attended Lake Braddock Invitational and Rustin Invitational, and qualified for States both years.

Events (Best Placement): Crime Busters (1st at 2021 States), Anatomy and Physiology (2nd at 2020 MW Regional), Water Quality (1st at 2020 Scilympiad Practice Day 2), Machines (5th at 2021 States).

He has qualified for the 2021 National Tournament this year after Virginia pulled through with two bids for Div. B.
