A section with machines of that type (and similar stuff, e.g. types of gears) would probably be helpful --[[User:Unome|Unome]] ([[User talk:Unome|talk]]) 14:37, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

It appears as though the written part is intended to contain questions about concepts and calculations for BOTH simple and compound machines, so including common compound machines would definitely be helpful, in my mind. Only dynamic calculations, strengths of materials, and angle of repose were expressly prohibited. Would it be helpful to include common compound machines, like a differential pulley? --Raxu (talk) 16:46, 2 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

I don't currently have the rules from 2015 on me, so I can't say for certain. I would say that it would likely be fine, but I will be able to check in a couple days to be sure and get back to you. EastStroudsburg13 (talk) 14:57, 3 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
