Re: Fireworks
Started off really good this year...many more than in the past.
Then they got to a mini-finale and stopped, supposedly because of a fire.

Re: Fireworks
Fireworks weren't that great at IUB. They claimed they would start at 8, but they had to wait for it to get dark...which didn't happen until 10:30. Then it was long and repetitive. It was OK, but not amazing.

Re: Fireworks
Just got back from a pretty good Fireworks on the River. While it was nice, it was nothing compared to Thunder over Louisville.
Thunder Over Louisville explodes across the night sky..It is the largest annual pyrotechnic show in North America.
Eight 400-foot barges assemble on both sides of the 2nd Street Bridge to form the stage from which the fireworks spectacular ignites.
They carry nearly 60 tons of fireworks shells.

Re: Fireworks
Ours were pretty good. Above average in the wow factor but boy were they long it took an hour for the whole thing. Pleiades have you seen the ones in Boston they're amazing.

Re: Fireworks
Thunder is amazing, the best show ever. It's so good, I'll sit for nine hours on a tarp right next to the Ohio River in temperatures that are lucky to reach 40 just to see it...oh the memories...Dark Sabre wrote:Just got back from a pretty good Fireworks on the River.
