Is this fermi thing actually going to happen? I really hope so because I think its replacement, Game On, is a travesty. People literally just memorize their whole game and just re-code it during the competition.

Exactly, then they change the art up.Sciolapedia wrote:Is this fermi thing actually going to happen? I really hope so because I think its replacement, Game On, is a travesty. People literally just memorize their whole game and just re-code it during the competition.
I hope you all get the benefit of Fermi, but it does not look like it. There will be a Game On workshop at the Summer Institute. Also, you are getting Remote Sensing. I'm sorry.

I'm not so sure about this one. You cannot shoehorn any single game to every possible science topic and get all of the points for depth of scientific thought. Well, you could, but that wouldn't be a particularly competitive tournament, thenSciolapedia wrote:Is this fermi thing actually going to happen? People are telling me that the science topic is very easy to get around. If the topic is fire, make the bullets fire. If the topic is, I don't know, cats, then put a cat in the background. You may not get full points on that part of the rubric, but you certainly would get an advantage on everything else.
