i dont like that obama is president and i would have prefered mccain but i am not all that sad that bush is stepping down.

psh, i prefer obama (especially with palin as mccain's running mate)
though he better carry out with all his promises...

Yeah, I'm happy. Eventhough I supported Hillary, I think Obama can do a lot to push legislation through Congress to support the environment (which I care a lot about) and to improve the image the rest of the world has of America.

I lucked out, and I was in Social Studies for pretty much the entire ceremony, so (a)our test got postponed. YAY! and (b) We got to watch. Everyone at my school supports Obama, even if they can't spell his name.

out district taped the inauguration (speech + swearing in, etc)
+ the entire school district got 2 spend the last hr + 1/2 watching the inauguration so we had super-short periods. It was sweet cuz we got nothing done + in history class we watched ABC news.

That poem seemed like she put a bunch of unrelated sentences on pieces of paper, put them in a hat, and randomly pulled them out to determine the order of the poem.

I know, and the way she was pronouncing it was pretty bad too. It was very choppy and didn't flow, at least not how I think a poem should.
